register of members
One of the statutory registers required to be maintained by the company under Section 352 Companies Act 1985. It shows the name and address of the shareholder, the number of shares held, the amount paid up, the number of relevant transfers and any transfers or acquisition of shares. It determines who is and who is not a shareholder at any given time.
