The Trustee Investment Act 1961 establishes a scheme for the investment of trust moneys by trustees. Schedule 1 to the Financial Services Act 1986 contains a list of investments for the purposes of the Act; these include stocks and shares issued by companies, stocks and bonds issued by governments and public authorities, options and warrants.
