ET1

ET1
1) The claim form that an employee must use to start a discrimination claim against an employer. An employer will receive a copy of the ET1 if it is named as a respondent on the claim form.
An ET1 was originally referred to as an IT1.
2) (Formerly IT1) the claim form that a claimant (formerly applicant) must use to initiate a claim in an employment tribunal. The Tribunal Service will serve a copy of the ET1 on each named respondent.
