nominated assets

nominated assets
England, Wales
Members who have accounts with certain friendly societies (as set out in the Friendly Societies Act 1974) can deal with their accounts by a nomination, rather than under a will (or if there is no will, under the intestacy rules).
To be dealt with in this way, a nomination form needs to be completed.
