In the context of a limited liability company (LLC), a manager is responsible for running the day to day affairs of the LLC. Managers have similar functions as directors and officers of a corporation. A manager's specific duties are often laid out in the LLC agreement. A manager may, but is not required to be, a member of the LLC.
