As defined under Title I and Title V of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101-13, an individual demonstrating that he has been subjected to disability discrimination because of an actual or perceived physical or mental impairment, whether or not the impairment limits or is perceived to limit a major life activity. Minor or transitory impairments are not covered.
