schedule
a small scroll; an appendage; most commonly encountered as a part of an Act of Parliament. Modern legislation often has numerous schedules that include details that would detract from the overall sense of the provision (an example being the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976) or that lists other enactments affected by the Act to which the schedule is attached. The schedule is as authoritative as the text of the Act itself: Shepherd v . Pearson Engineering Services (Dundee) Ltd 1980 SC 268.
