As required by the Companies Act 2006, a company must file a statement of capital with the Registrar of Companies on formation, with the annual return and following an alteration of share capital. The statement must include information on the total number of shares of the company, the aggregate nominal value of those shares, information about each class of shares and the amount paid up and, if any, unpaid on each share.
