England, Wales
writ of fieri facias, Also known as execution against goods.
A writ of fieri facias (writ of fi fa) commands a High Court enforcement officer (previously called a Sheriff) to seize and sell at auction enough of a debtor's goods in order to obtain the funds to satisfy a money judgment. In the county courts, the equivalent command to a county court bailiff is called a warrant of execution.
