County Court
The County Court should be used to sue for debts up to ₤50,000. The appropriate County Court is where the defendant is based or where the cause of action arose. The High Court is the appropriate court for actions to recover debts over that sum.

County Court
an English court. The workhorse of the English civil court system (See civil procedure), it deals with civil matters subject to financial limits. It is peopled by judges of the Supreme Court, circuit judges and recorders. Most cases are heard by a district judge but more valuable cases may be heard by a circuit judge.
